Mr Ameerali Abdeali is currently the President of the Muslim Kidney Action Association. He also serves as a Council Member of the Inter-Religious Organisation, Singapore (IRO), a Trustee of the Tabung Amal Adilfitri Trust, and the Honorary President of the National Safety Council of Singapore. He has several other positions to his credit. 

Jaime has been with the Occupational Safety and Health Division in the Ministry of Manpower (OSHD, MOM) for more than 20 years. She is currently a Director of the Major Hazards Department (MHD) and the OSH Specialist Department (SPECS). She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a Masters of Science in Safety, Health and Environmental Technology. She is also a Chartered Engineer and Professional Process Safety Engineer with the Institution of Chemical Engineers. In MHD, Jaime oversees the Safety Case regime. She works closely with other regulators, Major Hazard Installations and Safety Case practitioners, towards preventing major accidents and protecting the safety and health of the workforce and the community. In SPECS, she oversees the implementation of Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Medicine and Engineering Safety programmes; with the aim of reducing risks arising from occupational exposures, educating workplaces about preventive medicine and creating sound life-cycle assessments for engineering machinery and equipment. 

Mr Oliver Tian is a highly motivated business and technology manager with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. With over 35 years of experience working within the information technology sector (including public service), Oliver has delivered complex and large-scale projects in international markets and a variety of cultures. This has enabled him to develop a broad skill set including Management definition & implementation, Business Development & Technology Evaluation as well as operational & Business Strategy planning. A self-starter who believes in creating something out of nothing, he is also a fond advocate of technology augmenting human capability and extending potential, in a responsible way. Nancy Wilk is an Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Fellow and Certified Industrial Hygienist with WSP’s Mine Water Environment with 36 years’ experience in occupational hygiene. She has worked as an Ontario provincial enforcement officer, a consultant, Risk Management Director for McMaster University, and was the Global Vice President of Health, Safety, Security & Environment for Golder Associates from 2012 to 2017. Nancy has worked with the mining sector since 1987 providing Industrial Hygiene and EHS expertise and support to exploration, operations, processing, and mine remediation nationally and internationally. Nancy Wilk is the current President of IOHA.

Veronica, is a volunteer with the Occupational Environmental Health Society (OEHS) Singapore as an executive member having served as past president for two terms. She is a professional engineer (chemical) and she holds several professional licences in health and safety such as CIH, WSHO and RIH (SG). Currently she provides capability building services and consultancy in WSH and industrial hygiene engineering work. She is pursuing her passion on training and educating the future generation of WSH professionals as an associate lecturer at various universities and training academies. Having spent 20 yrs at the Occupational Safety and Health Division, Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore as a Senior Principal Specialist and Senior Assistant Director and spearheaded the national globally harmonized system (GHS) Task Force. She was Operation Director with a consulting company providing WSH solutions to and building WSH capabilities for AP customers. 

Saurabh Saini, MS, CIH, CSP is a Risk Management & Sustainability professional specialising in driving corporate risk management strategies and leading implementation of sustainability initiatives across Asia. A Registered Industrial Hygienist (RIH-SG), Saurabh spent 12 years in EHS risk management consulting and was instrumental in providing Industrial Hygiene Risk Management solutions for multinational companies across multiple industry sectors in Asia. As the Environment & Supply Chain Innovation Manager at Apple for the last 5 years, Saurabh spearheaded the development of EHS management systems at new Suppliers in the Asia Pacific region.

Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Khushairy bin Makhtar is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and currently serves as the Head of CPD and Training at the Malaysian Institute of Transport (MITRANS). He holds a PhD and Master’s in Risk Engineering from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo University of Science. With expertise in human factors, ergonomics, and transport safety, Dr. Khushairy is actively involved in research on driver behaviour, ergonomic risk assessment, and intelligent transport systems. He is a Chartered Engineer (IMechE, UK), a Professional Engineer (BEM), and currently Vice President I of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Malaysia (HFEM). His contributions are well-recognized through numerous publications and professional evaluations at national and international levels.

Danyya Rahman is an industrial safety practitioner with over a decade of expertise in Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) across the waste management and maritime sector. Throughout her career, Danyya has been instrumental in conducting compliance audits, leading incident investigations, cultivating a positive safety culture. A passionate advocate for innovation in safety, Danyya have participated in WSH Innovation Award Competitions,competing in both the industry and national level and had attained both Silver and Gold Award for projects in the Maritime Industry. Zephan has extensive experience as an occupational health, safety, and environmental consultant to various industries and public organisations in Singapore and the region. He has also taught various occupational health and safety topics for several institutes, including the University of Western Australia, Leeds Beckett University, and the University of Newcastle. Zephan is a Registered WSH Officer and Industrial Hygienist.  

Dr. Sharad Govil is a Doctor of Audiology with over 20 years of experience spanning clinical practice, healthcare leadership, and the hearing technology industry. He is the founder of Amazing Hearing Group, a leading private audiology network in Singapore, and has worked across Singapore, New Zealand, and China — including roles in public hospitals and with leading Swiss and Danish hearing aid companies. Sharad currently serves as the President of the Society for Audiology Professionals (Singapore), where he advocates for advancing hearing care and professional standards. Eric Ng is the Technical Manager at Absolute Laboratories Pte Ltd and Managing Director of Absolute Instrument Systems, with over 15 years of experience in environmental monitoring and calibration. Leading an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory, Eric specializes in delivering innovative solutions for workplace safety, including WBGT heat stress monitors, noise dosimeters, and gas detection systems. His work supports industries across Singapore, from construction to healthcare, ensuring compliance and protecting workers from occupational hazards.

Dr. Ismaniza Ismail is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and a certified Professional Technologist (Chemical Technology) under the Malaysian Board of Technologists. With a PhD in Occupational and Environmental Hygiene from the University of Adelaide, her work spans industrial hygiene, environmental health and occupational safety & health in general. She serves as the Honorary Treasurer of the Malaysian Industrial Hygiene Association (MIHA) and has earned multiple recognitions and innovation awards. Dr. Ismaniza played a key role in developing Malaysia’s Guidelines for Psychosocial Risk Management and is an appointed trainer for the Psychosocial Trained Person (PTP) course by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). As a researcher, educator, and policy contributor who is passionate about knowledge sharing, she regularly appears in media as a subject matter expert in the field, and continues to advocate for healthier, safer workplaces nationwide.

Muthia is an experienced occupational health and safety (OHS) practitioner for 16 years in integrated energy companies (coal mining, oil and gas and mining services). Currently working at as SHE System & Compliance Department Head in one of Indonesian integrated energy producer company, based in Jakarta. Her previous roles were Head of Industrial Hygiene & Occupational Health (IHOH) Department, OHS Compliance Superintendent, QHSE System Superintendent, HSE Superintendent & HSE Officer in PT AEI.

Panrada Sudto (Pat) is a senior occupational health and hygiene advisor with over 35 years’ experience in industrial hygiene and hazardous gas monitoring. At Industrial Scientific Asia Pacific, she supports high-risk industries with connected safety technologies and exposure monitoring. Pat has helped organisations adopt data-driven approaches to gas risk management and remains active in professional development through her role with the Occupational Safety and Health at Work Association (OSHWA), Thailand. 

Thirumila Muthukamaru is a seasoned Industrial Hygiene professional with over 25 years of experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) governance. Beginning her career as a Safety Engineer after graduating in Chemical Engineering, she discovered her passion in Industrial Hygiene during her 13 years at BASF PETRONAS Chemicals, where she established and led the function from the ground up. She later joined PETRONAS, where she spent 14 years in senior leadership roles across Upstream and Group-level operations, including Head of Health Standards and Head of Operations & Regulatory Compliance. In her current role as a Technical Professional in Industrial Hygiene, Thirumila leads enterprise-wide initiatives in exposure risk management and governance. I am an experienced Industrial Hygiene Professional with over 15 years in safety and health. I specialize in Industrial Hygiene Management.
